Wedding Accessories are items which people at weddings may wish to have and they range from wedding garters to wedding lace parasols.
Bouquet These are artificial bunches of sinamay, ribbon, feathers and crystals in many different combinations and sizes and the stem is wrapped in a ribbon. They are an alternative to fresh flowers for if the wedding is taking place abroad, at a time of year when few fresh flowers are available or if the bride has a pollen allergy.
Bridal Bag These are little decorative bags with a drawstring handle which can be carried over the wrist into which a bride can put any little bits and pieces she will need on her wedding day. They are usually prettily decorated with various motifs.
Garter A wedding garter is a popular wedding accessory for the bride to wear under her dress, often to represent the 'something blue' from the old rhyme. They can be satin or cotton and decorated with lace and elasticated.
Parasol A parasol was used to protect one's complexion from the sun. Today they can be used for the same purpose or just as a pretty accessory at a wedding, either by the bride herself or by the guests. They usually consist of a pretty lacy pattern on material at the end of a wooden or metal handle.
Wedding Ring Cushion These are small decorated cushions with long ribbons which are used to attach the wedding rings to. They are often carried by a page boy or small bridesmaid for the ceremony.
Wrist Spray These are like little fascinators but on an elasticated band and worn around the wrist. They make charming accessories for bridesmaids.
